I am thankful to my mom for my love of gardening even though I didn’t always appreciate the time I spent in the garden as a child. As I picked never-ending cherries or pulled weeds from our huge vegetable garden, I wished to be anywhere but the garden. But I still remember the delicious sweetness of freshly picked raspberries and strawberries, the thrill of marigold seedlings emerging, and the joy of just laying in the grass looking at pictures in the clouds. I learned valuable life lessons in the garden. Thanks Mom!
