Beginning Friday, April 27 and continuing through Mother’s Day – Sunday, May 13 all the roses are $10 off. All varieties and types of roses – shrub, groundcover, grandiflora, floribunda, climber, and hybrid tea – are included.

Welcome! We are excited to share our love of gardening with you another season.

Our hours have changed a little this year. We are open every day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in April through June. In July, our hours will change to 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day through the end of September. Beginning October and continuing until we close for the season, our hours will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Come on in – we’ve missed you!

The Planter’s Palette is officially closed for the winter. The office is still open Monday through Friday if you’d like to purchase a gift certificate or to answer any of your gardening questions. We open for the 2012 season on April 1.

Christmas Blowout Sale

Christmas is over; the presents unwrapped. Dinner was delicious, without a mishap.

Then I begin to consider next year, and what to my wondering eyes did appear.

But the sale of all sales at my favorite store; 50% off the holiday merchandise I adored.

And even more deals that just can’t be beat – 50% off arbors, benches and things of concrete.

I’ll make room on my schedule on Tuesday or Wednesday. From 9 until 4, and I’ll bring lots of money!

Last Day to Save on Roping!

Today is the last day to take advantage of early order pricing on roping. Check out the Specials page and give us a call at 630-293-1040 ext. 2 to order. Photos of roping can be found in the Photo Gallery. Due to some unexpected problems with a vendor, Balsam/White Pine Mix Roping will not be available this year. We are very sorry for any inconvenience.

We are working like Santa’s elves to turn The Planter’s Palette into a winter wonderland. Don’t miss our Open House on Saturday, November 12 and Sunday, November 13 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lush greens, wreaths, swags and roping; our famous holiday slip-ins ready to “slip in” to your own decorative pots; spruce tops and tabletop trees; holiday ornaments and decor in many styles; fine ribbons and bows; and gifts for gardeners are featured. Of course, there will also be tasty tweets and wassail to get you in the holiday mood.
