Imperata cylindrica 'Red Baron'

Translucent, upright foliage. Tips of wine red intensify during the season to become blood red by fall. Grows 12-18" tall and wide. Stunning accent plant. Nice with deep purples of Heliotrope or Purple Dome Asters. A warm season grass.

Full sun to part shade in moist well-drained soil. Spreads slowly. Shade from the hot summer sun. Winter mulch is recommended.
