Phalaris arundinacea 'Dwarf Garters'

One of the best for white foliage in the garden. Grows 18-24" tall, spreading slowly to 2'. Foliage emerges pink in spring and changes to striking white and green. Soft white flower heads above the foliage in July. A warm season grass.

Light to part shade in rich moist soil. Tolerates boggy soils and standing water 1-2" deep. Does not flop or become aggressive.
