Sesleria caerulea

Twisted leaves are dark green on top and powdery blue underneath giving a unique bicolor look. 6-12" tall and 18" wide with purplish tinted flowers in June. Makes a nice meadow for small gardens. Nice with dwarf bulbs. A cool season grass.

Best in light shade in moist, well-drained soil. Dislikes dry sites. A lawn substitute that can handle light traffic.
