Sporobolus heterolepis 'Tara'
Dwarf habit. Fine textured foliage turning orange-red in fall. Grows 1 1/2 to 2' tall and wide. Upright, golden, airy, fragrant blooms above foliage in August. A warm season grass.
Full sun in well-drained to dry soils. Extremely heat and drought tolerant.
