Dense, compact plant to 18" tall and 12-18" round. Gray-green leaves have a spicy scent. Purple-blue flowers are similar to those of common sage. Use fresh or dried in poultry, pork, sausage, vegetables or fish. Perennial.
Full sun and well-drained soil. Cut back in spring to no less than 4".
