Leptinella squalida 'Platt's Black'
Blackened fern-like foliage forms soft fluffy mat; unique texture. Reaches to 2" tall, to 12" wide by rhizomes; tolerates some foot traffic. Use in fairy gardens and in between stepping stones. Tiny yellow flowers in June.
Light to partial shade in almost any fertile well-drained soil. Grows best in sandy, slightly acidic soil.
