Dryopteris erythrosora
This fern has a compact habit with leathery evergreen fronds. New growth is glossy coppery red turning to bronze, changing to green by summer. Grows 18-24" tall and wide. Hints of copper color return in fall.
Light to full shade in well-drained soil that does not dry out.
