Nierembergia 'Purple Robe'
Violet-blue flowers above slender foliage, 4-8" high and wide. Flowering may slow down considerably in the heat of summer, so part afternoon shade is best. A summer mulch retains moisture and helps keep soils cool. Pinch young plants to promote bushiness. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage additional bloom. If flowering significantly decreases in the heat of the summer, cut back plants to encourage later bloom
Grows best in part shade to full sun in average, well-drained soil, kept uniformly moist. Remove spent flowers to encourage more blooms.
