Crocosmia 'Lucifer'
Flame red, nodding, flared and funnel-shaped flowers on arching stems in July and August. Sword-like foliage grows 30-36" high with a 12" spread. A great cutting flower. Attracts hummingbirds!
Full sun to light shade in an organic, fertile, well drained soil. Mulch heavily in winter or lift in the fall and treat as a gladiolus.
