Iris cristata
Delightful woodland charmer. Royal blue flowers with yellow crests, blooming April to May. Grows 6-8" tall with a 2' spread. Fanned foliage remains attractive all season. Pretty groundcover.
Grows best in partially shaded areas in organically rich, moist soil. Very adaptable. Spreads slowly by rhizome forming colonies.
