Paeonia suffruticosa 'Shimadaijin'
Enormous semi-double purple flowers blooming in late May-June. Grows slowly into a 3-4' woody shrub with coarse, exfoliating bark and luxuriant foliage.
Full sun to light shade in deep, fertile, well-drained soil. Protect from high winds. Do not cut back.
