Astilbe 'Red Sentinal'
Scarlet red flower plumes bloom above the foliage in July. Grows 30-36" tall and forms 24" wide mounds of dark green, graceful divided foliage. Useful as a cut flower.
Part shade in fertile, organic, well-drained moist soil. Good drainage in winter is important.
