Echinops ritro 'Vietch's Blue'
Dark, metallic blue, globular, spikey flower heads bloom on strong stems in July. Grows 3-3 1/2' tall and 2-3' wide with large gray-green, deeply divided leaves. Good cut flower if cut when blue first appears.
Full sun to light shade in average to infertile, well-drained soil. Does well in hot and dry areas!
