Helictotrichon sempervirens

Intense metallic blue foliage, pointed at the tips, grows 12-18" tall and wide in a tidy clump. Oat-like flowers on one sided spikes held 1-2' above foliage in June. Semi-evergreen. A beautiful accent plant. Cool season grass.

Best in full sun, well-drained soil & good air movement. Some shade in hot humid summers. Subject to root rot in wet or clay soils.
