Helleborus orientalis

One of the finest early season bloomers with 3 months of flowering beginning in March. Cup-shaped, nodding flowers 3-4" wide, vary from white to plum, often spotted inside. Leathery semi-evergreen foliage 18-24" tall and wide.

Part to full shade in moist, organically rich, well drained soil. Fertilize in early spring for rapid growth. Long lived and low maintenance.
