Hemerocallis 'Chicago Apache'
Intense, scarlet-red, 5" flowers with deeper red ruffled edges. Blooms in mid July to August on strong 24-30" flower scapes. Color holds up well in sunlight. Tetraploid.
Full sun to light shade in moist to average well-drained organically rich soil. Fertilize in spring with a mix high in phosphate.
