Iris versicolor 'Gerald Darby'

Dark blue flowers bloom May to June on 24"-36" tall scapes. New growth is flushed in purple. Space 24" apart. Native to wet areas and works well beside ponds. Deer resistant.

Full sun to light shade in average, well-drained to wet and boggy soil. Very adaptable. Can be potted and sunk into ponds for a focal point.
