Panicum virgatum 'Heavy Metal'

Stiff metallic blue leaves forming tight upright clumps grow 3-3 1/2' tall & 2-3' wide. Delicate pink-tinged flowers 12-18" above the foliage in late July. Foliage turns bright yellow in fall. Nice in pastel color schemes. A warm season grass.

Full sun or light shade in average soil. Establishes quickly but does not re-seed. Remains upright in winter.
