Physostegia virginiana 'Vivid'
Bright rose flowers held tightly on spikes atop the stems in August to September. A shorter variety, 2-3' tall and spreading 2-3'. Excellent in the garden or naturalized areas. Valued as a cut flower.
Full sun to part shade in average garden soil. Inclined to spread but easily controlled. Excellent for wet areas and poor soils.
