Polygonatum giganteum
Long mat green leaves alternate along arching stems. Green-white flowers hang from the leaf axils May-June. Blue berries in fall. Dramatic architectural plant. 3-4' tall. Space 2' apart. Easy to grow. Native.
Partial to deep shade in organically rich, moist soil. Spreads slowly forming colonies. Can tolerate dry shade under mature trees.
