Salvia superba 'Royal Crimson Distinction'

Dense spikes of purple-crimson flowers are held above low clumps of grey-green leaves. Flowering occurs June-July, and if deadheaded, will rebloom again in fall. Grows 16" tall with an 18" spread.

Full sun in well-drained soil. Will tolerate drought once established. Cut back spent flowers to encourage repeat blooming.
