Syringa meyeri 'Palabin'

A dwarf Korean lilac that grows 4' to 5' high and 5' to 7' wide. A small, dense, neat, mounding shrub with fragrant violet flowers mid-May.

Leaves are smaller than other species. A handsome lilac used alone, groups or masses.

Full sun in rich, moist, well-drained soil.

Does not contract powdery mildew as the common lilac can, and is a low maintenance plant.
