Vernonia fasciculata
Showy, bright reddish-purple flower clusters held atop the tough stems in July and August. This native grows 3-5' tall with wispy thin green foliage spreading to 2'. Great for naturalized wet areas.
Full sun in organically rich, well-drained to wet soil.
