Lettuce 'Caretaker' (Head lettuce)
Uniform sized heads are slow to bolt and retain their mild flavor even in the heat of summer. Harvest when heads are firm and well-wrapped.
Grow in full sun spring and fall, partial shade in summer if possible. Fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Space 12" apart.
