Asclepias tuberosa
Bright orange flower clusters in July to August. Native prairie plant. Narrow leaves line stems, forming clumps 15-30" tall and 18-24" wide. Attracts butterflies!
Full sun. Prefers soil that is poor, sandy or dry. Do not move once established. Slow to emerge in spring.
