Silphium terebinthinaceum
Yellow sunflower-like blooms atop smooth stems from the cluster of huge, coarse foliage in July to August. This native prairie plant grows anywhere from 2-7' tall and 4-6' wide depending on available moisture.
Full sun in soil that is average to dry soil.
